Ritluka is a 100% black owned company offering a variety of services in the mining industry of South Africa and neighbouring countries. Founded in 2014, we have gone on to position ourselves as experts in contract mining, drawing from the 50+ years experience of our founders. With diverse backgrounds in mining and geology, we uniquely stand out as a company specialising in both open cast and underground services.

The name "Ritluka" means "leaf" in Tsonga, which depicts our commitment to sustainability, a criterion for success which has become increasingly important in the mining sector as resource owners look to enhance their Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) scorecards.
We provide solutions that are tailored to meet each clients' needs. This ensures that we deliver our services optimally, on time and on budget. This ability to meet clients’ needs is further augmented by our commitment to finding innovative, technology-driven solutions designed to help clients extract maximum value from their resources.

TEAM
We are a team of qualified and experienced male and female professionals, with extensive experience in geology, project management, mine design, open cast operations and underground operations. Our involvement in various operational and technical projects has positioned as a company with high potential and capabilities in delivering projects and services of high quality.

Rhandzu Ngobeni
Manager Director
Bachelor, Mining Engineering (Wits), Principles of Project Management (UP)
Rirhandzu Ngobeni started his mining career at BHP Billiton Energy Coal South Africa (Now South 32) in 2007 where he worked underground and pillar coal mine as a miner, and later as a shift overseer. He later moved to opencast mining within BHP Billiton and joined the drill and blast team, where he worked as an opencast blaster. He also held positions of drill and blast foreman, dragline foreman and coal production foreman. He also worked as drill and blast planning specialist.
